This is an Introductory Blog Post!

This, lovely readers, is hello and welcome to the Unofficial Blog of the Buddy Holly Tour! Unofficial meaning I am not an official as I have a BA in theater, but also nobody asked me to do this, which gives you a substantial bit of information about me already!

To fill in the rest of the gaps, I am 23 (a very satisfying number to look at and look through), an actor/musician/dancer/writer/I would use the term theater artist if it didn't make me want to unzip my own skin just to get away from the pretentiousness of it, but I guess that's the most time-efficient way to tell you just how I pay my bills and fill my days.

Additionally, I teach young children in between telling them to sit down and be kind to each other and am known to make a mean, if oblong, latte art heart.

What else ...

I grew up in Philadelphia. Went to school in Philadelphia. Lived in the same house all my life. Have had the same fundamental family structure all my life, with the emotional comings and goings of three pets.

I have been to Maine and have been to Florida, have been to Europe, and have been nowhere (at the UN), but have never been further west than Pittsburgh.

It therefore follows that I, an untravelled, sheltered, and one might argue a quite inexperienced young adult, would not be the most qualified to write a travel blog. The things I notice may be mundane to you, my writings will very likely have the sheen of slack-jawed wonder on them, my words may cycle round and round in a Coriolis-like frenzy of trying to encapsulate a feeling or moment in just the right words.

In short, this may not be very interesting to you. But in the event it is, I welcome a travel companion in you. Let's take a road trip.
